Best Dressed Men at SAG 2011 Red Carpet

For men, the red carpet is pretty simple.  The 17th Annual Screen Actor’s Guild Awards was another chance to get all dapper, slide on a nicely fitted suit and necktie(bowtie if you’re fancy) and smile for the cameras.  Although it seems that some of the guys don’t quite understand the concept of a nicely fitted, and steamed suit(yes I’m looking at a few of you in particular) today we turn our attention to the ones that did it right, with Best Dressed of the night going to Justin Timberlake in a nicely fitted Simon Spurr suit, and a rugby inspired neck tie that gives the look an added twist.

Looks were judged on

  1. Overall Appeal- This could really is just like the original gut instinct.  Some times inexplicable things, other times more obvious(like shaggy hair and mohawks).
  2. Polish- Really simple things like, how tight(or loose) is the neck tie, are the trousers at least ironed.  You know the basics.
  3. Fit-Kinda self explanatory.  While the fit of the jacket isn’t a constant problem, the length of the trouser is.  No break in the leg, or minimal break(that is where the trouser touches the shoes) is desired.
