NYFW: Zang Toi Fall 2011
Dramatic opera music set the mood for the Fall 2011 presentation of designer Zang Toi. The models stepped out in graceful slow motion with towering up-dos in camel colored cashmere and elaborate gowns. Sophistication and luxury resound in each piece in the collection. Gray capes and coats with fur collars and rhinestones intentionally splattered along the top of pencil skirts show Toi’s expertise in craftsmanship and taste. An olive floor length wool coat with stand up collar has a gray interior and paired with an all gray floor length wool dress, it creates a chic overall look. Mid-way through the presentation an emerald and black fur stole is dropped to reveal strands of emerald rhinestones draping from neck to shoulders over a velvet gown. Gasp-worthy luxury in a collection fit for royalty makes Zang Toi a top new designer for Fashion Week.
