Interview with BOBBI BROWN at the TIBI Spring 2011 Runway Show

We ran into the Bobbi Brown, makeup Artist to the stars, during the TIBI Spring 2011 runway show. And of course we stopped her from creating her magic (but only for a second) to tell us a bit about the task she was handed for the show.

Can you describe to me what line you are putting together with Amy and her Spring 2011 collection for TIBI?

The color palette is really great b/c the palette is called Peony and Python.  So you have the pink of the peony and the gray of the python.  The pink are on the lips and cheeks and the smoky gray on the eyes with a black liner. It’s a wearable look that anyone can wear.  I think the current trends are cool tones and gray smoky color.

How long does it take to apply?

Well I think any makeup for everyday looks should be 5 minutes. It is for the everyday girl that wants to get ready and go that is.  But it’s really important that she puts foundation on first so the color is perfect.

Do you think they will transcend from day life to nightlife?

It’s is the perfect palette for day to night, so you can start with the lighter colors and build it to a smoky eye.

Where can we find these products and when will they be available?

These are coming out in the spring and are available at all the TIBI stores and my counters worldwide.
