Designer Spotlight: Gwen Beloti Offers Structured Fluidity for Spring 2012

Emerging womenswear designer, Gwen Beloti, is one to keep on your radar. We j’adore G.B.’s vintage, contemporary and conservative design aesthetic. Gwen, a Brooklyn native with a Master’s Degree in Psychology under her belt, stunned family and friends as she ventured into the world of fashion. In 2007, the young designer built up enough ammunition to take her fashion design aspirations to the next level when she enrolled and studied at New York School of Design.

Since then she has designed eight fabulous collections, along with her most recent spring 2012 debut, entitled: “Structured Fluidity,” in ode to independence and romance. The collection offers a compilation of spirited dresses and separates that showcase the designers’ structured design aesthetic of soft drapery and a customary play on color.

Offering unique pieces for every occasion, with prices ranging from $82-$400, Gwen Beloti’s designs stays true to her mantra; chic yet wearable apparel with edge and a feminine fit. . . now that’s so haute!
