Summer Beauty 101

Summer is finally here and I know all of you beauties are ready to hit the beach, cookouts and pool parties. With summer comes massive heat, humidity and sometimes a change in diet (more Mano Margaritas) that can often challenge our skin. The heat will put your makeup to the test.  Here are some tips on how to achieve Flawless Summer Beauty.

EXFOILIATE- Clogged pores are not only unattractive but they won’t allow your skin to have the coveted healthy glow we all desire. You’ll want to exfoliate up to twice a week. You’ll notice a change in a few short weeks.

PRIME- Every great makeup application starts with an awesome primer.  Using primer will help to keep your makeup in place and stop it from creasing. You’ll also want to use an eye shadow primer to keep your eyes looking awesome.

Switch Formulas- With the heat you don’t want a lot of products on your face or look like you have a melting face. Try switching from your foundation to a tinted moisturizer to give you a glowing fresh faced look

Bronze- Nothing complements your sun-kissed skin like a great bronzer. Sometimes bronzers can be a little too shimmery so you can use your bronzer as a blush instead.

Set- Use a setting spray to ensure that your makeup stays in place all day long even in the heat.
