RUNWAY REPORT: MARC JACOBS SPRING 2011

Night feva baby, bringing it back to the 70’s there Marc?  Rusty colors of autumn were shown at Marc Jacobs SS 2010, rust orange and browns, purples and maroons, mustard yellows, and metallic; Marc Jacobs really went retro here.

But hey, no one’s complaining here.  Honestly, who can say the ‘70s was horrible, or even bad?  Exactly why this is such a success.  It’s amazing how trends come and go, and its aweome to see how they are made into new and fresh pieces.

Can’t forget the PRINTS. The prints were sheer genius, propped upon silks and satin, a luxurious sight for all to see. Yet again, more sheer sheer sheer, like the red sheer ruffled neck dress with large slouch pockets worn by Emilia Nawarecka.  Absolutely stunning.

Make up was strong; a sexy smoky eye with heavy duty eyeliner and dark brown/blood red lips.
