Michelle Kessler Sanders Ventures to Vera Wang

The Vera Wang Group has named Michelle Kessler Sanders Executive Vice President and Creative Director. Sanders will finish up her role as The Sunday Times Magazine‘s fashion director in two weeks. During an interview Tuesday at the designer’s showroom with president Mario Grauso, Sanders said the prospect of working together was something that has been talked about for years. “I think we finally wore her down,” Grauso said with a laugh.

With the designer’s presence at Kohl’s and building her Lavender label, which has just been relaunched at Neiman Marcus, this is no longer a job for one.  With Sanders, we shall see more Vera Wang things to come.
