The Joanne Hynes and Helen Steele design collaboration is something of a genius. Entitled ‘Les Guerriers‘, translated into English as ‘The Warriors‘, the inspiration for the collection was taken from 16th century Irish Pirate Queen, Grainne Ni Mhaile, whose story resonated with Hynes and Steele’s own mission to create, ‘battle on’ and ‘forge ahead’. Pretty impressive, and quite poetic, I have to say.

The collection is rich in texture, bold and definitely out there. Which is your favourite outfit? I am absolutely in love with the first image, the heavy feathered jacket sporting the woollen cream cardigan. Perfect!
