Gisele Bündchen for Balenciaga’s Spring Campaign

Gisele Bündchen is most likely known at a sexy vixen, a gorgeous Victoria’s Secret angel.  That’s why this came to a surprise to me once I found our about her appearance in Balenciaga’s spring campaign.  Maybe it shouldn’t come to me as a complete shock, since she did walk on the Balenciaga’s runway in Paris last September, but still, she is channeling a whole new look!

She’s not alone, either, accompanied by a male model named Yuri Pleskun wearing ghoulish makeup and not much else.  The striking ads, slated to break in February fashion magazines, were shot by Steven Meisel and channel the boyish and punk spirit of Nicolas Ghesquière’s latest collection. Marie-Amélie Sauvé styled the shoot, with Pat McGrath in charge of makeup and Guido Palau the hair.
