Dallas and H&M Finally Unite
After an entire semester of non-stop projects and assignments, I’m more than ecstatic that my winter break has arrived. Finally, all the activities I’ve longed for: baking cookies, watching the Christmas classics, and decorating the tree; however, ‘tis the season to shop. Early this fall the soon-to-be arrival of Dallas’ H&M preview store at NorthPark Center was the hot topic. And now, the preview store is here. My first day home, I headed out to see what all the hype was about. Praying all this time for an H&M, myself, I felt like a kid again rushing to a candy store. Bright lights, white interior, walls of nothing but fashion. I could clearly hear the Hallelujah chorus. What’s a girl, or guy, to do in a situation of pure astonishment such as this? Shop.
Open until early spring, the preview store welcomes customers, both new and old, to the world of H&M. Quite humorously, store will close temporarily and relocate near the food court upstairs not too far from the trendy boutique, Forever XXI. It’s been rumored that H&M is striving to create a store much larger than that of new NorthPark component. Just think, technically two whole stories more of content! While Forever XXI offers clothing of one price range, H&M offers an even larger range bound to attract fashion lovers of all incomes. Will this be, “Goodbye Forever XXI, Hello H&M”? Only time will tell.
