The brand Rag & Bone is at it’s core a British concept. This isn’t because Marcus Wainwright and David Neville, the designers, are from Britain(they are actually from here in the states) or because the garments are made there(conscious efforts are made to keep as much of the production of Rag&Bone garments in the US as possible), but instead because of the name. Rag&Bone was a term for poor men who subsisted off of the goodwill of the townspeople to spare him their throwaways in the time before garbage collectors.
If this was the beginning concept, either the Rag&Bone man has found some well dressed townspeople to mooch off of, or he has recently come into a good bit of money. Outfitted in bomber style letterman jackets, wide legged pants, window pane printed trousers, and even a few kilts, the collection spans a bright color palette of reds, yellows, and blues. With the quintessential British bowler hat, and stereotypically European ascot, the brand continues to serve up the eclectic styling choices they’ve become known for.
The model cast included the likes of Corey Baptiste, Yuri Pleskun, and Clement Chabernaud.
