Russell Simmons Argyle Culture Men’s clothing line

Hip hop don’t stop at Russell Simmon’s feet, he’s got it going on from head to toe with his Argyle Culture men’s clothing line. The clothing range is aimed at men above the age of 25, combining urban styles with the buttoned-up look of professional smart attire. Simmons said Argyle Culture represented a natural succession in his clothing-related businesses. “After nearly 20 years in the young men’s business I have always intended to design sophisticated men’s wear for the urban graduate,” said the fashion entrepreneur, who has teamed up with GQ for the Spring 2008 Argyle Culture publicity campaign.

Ever since the soft launch of Argyle Culture late last year, the clothing line has been popular with consumers, and even made the number one in Macy’s men’s section.  Well it’s about time it made it to Macy’s Herald Square, where a special event was held for the grand opening while invited guests enjoyed cocktails with the beats of, unfortunately, a DJ everyone failed to know.
